While accomplishing all available remote control functions, this remarkable device simultaneously converts either Icom CI-V to USB, or Yaesu RS-232 CAT to USB, or Kenwood and Elecraft RS-232 COM to USB. The radio band data port is bi-directional, providing conversion of information for virtually unlimited applications with accessories. The MIC-7's USB port supports direct connection to modern FlexRadio transceivers. You can easily interface any modern, computer controllable transceiver to a PC desktop or laptop computer AND enjoy the additional functionality of this unit.
The MIC-7 features a dual port LAN for remote Internet operations which can simultaneously serve a remote station transceiver as well as control the rear panel 8-contact switching control for antenna or other relay switching tasks, such as a third party bandpass filter. The rear panel RJ11 FireLAN port on both the MIC-7 and the SureFire Radio BF-100 Bandpass Filter System provides direct interface control and DC power. They were made for each other!
Like the BF-100, the SureFire Radio MIC-7 is built into an attractive and sleek heavy duty anodized aluminum case with laser engraved panels and high quality connectors. With the MIC-7, a connected transceiver, an antenna switch and a bandpass filter may all be remotely operated via local or Internet LAN connection to your router.
